STILLS PROCESS:
Subjects are colour-checked and then colour-synched into CAPTURE ONE PRO software or DPP.
Post-production is based on what the client specifically requires for the shoot. This can include:
-Processing of RAW files into the required formats
-Compositing of multiple elements, if required
-Spotting and removal of unwanted details
-Adding of highlights and shadows
-Perspective-control
-Setting the black point
-Setting the white point
-Setting mid-tones
-Adjusting curves and contrast
-Colour-balance and colour-correction
-Sharpening
-Reformatting files
-Layout of the files into any design elements requested by the client
-Burning CDS/DVDS, backing up to multiple hard-drives
MOTION PROCESS:
First, I collaborate on the concept of the motion with you, the client, and the Art Director, as well as any number of my creative associates. Collectively, we sketch, script and story-board. I then shoot raw footage digitally and review it on a computer. I check for colour balance, sharpness and blurs. This part of the process is nearly identical to the stills process. I then edit/supervise editing in one of several software programs like FINAL CUT PRO, ADOBE SOFTWARE, IMOVIE, or 3D, using various programs for certain effects and processes. Clips are composited, titled and transitioned. Sound is added and the motion is outputted in one of several formats and sent by DVD or FTP to the client.
